Sales activity in Perth is on the increase and more properties are now under offer than in the previous quarter
The second Quarter REIWA report will be out soon and an update will be released during the first week of July 2018.
The REIWA 2018 first quarter report noted that 2283 house sales had settled at the time the report was release and that the median Perth house price at the time was $499 000. Predictions are for an increase to around $517 000 with average time to sell increased to 67 days. The overall median weekly rent remained stable at $350/week.
Indications are that around $850 000 000 worth of property sold in Perth during the month of May 2018, and that buyers are taking advantage of the slump in the market. Astute buyers will be snapping up properties during June and I look forward to the final REIWA Second Quarter statistics!
